SCIF.Net™ Goes Beta on the Web
SCIF.Net™, a net website about State Compensation Insurance Fund has been released into beta and is nearing a production release. The site is free and features news aggregated by human editors, state fund news releases back to 2004, a fully searchable database of all the content on the site, and forums for the community.
The site aggregates news from many sources about California’s State Fund. State Fund or SCIF as it is sometimes known, is the largest provider of workers’ compensation in California and is both fairly competitive and its market of last resort.
SCIF.Net It is updated by human editors frequently. It’s sources include California’s daily and weekly newspapers as well as other credible sources. The site opens with and maintains a fully searchable database approaching 1000 articles with many more being added each day.
Additionally scif.net provides all of State Fund’s news releases back to 2004, special coverage of the SCIF scandals from Workers’ Comp Executive, California’s journal of record for the workers’ compensation industry.
It’s beta release includes forums for registered users where employees, former employees, brokers, employers, and claimants and others can compare notes, ask and answer questions, and become a member of the community.
The site is free to all comers and will become advertising supported.
